Meet Angela
Background
Angela Branch is a Chemist and Licensed Esthetician. She is a native of Newark, New Jersey. At a young age she developed a love for education, computer technology, mathematics, and science. She was accepted to Newark's University High School Gifted and Talented Program for middle school. It was there where she began to excel in both mathematics and science curriculum. This prompted her to apply to Newark's prestigious Science High School, where she continued to develop her love for the sciences. Ultimately, her curiosity and desire to change lives led her to choose a career in Chemistry and develop a passsion for Skin Care. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Montclair State University, as well as a diploma in skin care from Parisian Beauty Academy, A Dermalogica Partner School. She is a Licensed Skin Care Specialist in New Jersey and New York.
Experience
Angela's career as a Chemist spans more than twelve years. She has experience working in various industries including chemicals, flavors and fragrances, oil and gas, environmental, and pharmaceutical. During her years in the lab, she learned about different raw materials and their use in consumer products. While studying esthetics, Angela expanded her skin care product knowledge as a lead member of the Skin Care Take Home Team at Parisian Beauty Academy. She continues to further her education and is trained in performing customized treatments using professional skin care from Dermalogica, PCA Skin, Circadia, Color Up and others. In addition, she is Oncology-Trained and has certifications in treatments such as Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Gua Sha, LED Light Therapy, Diamond Glow, Geneo and more.
Passion
Angela has a passion for changing lives and educating others. Those in the business of beauty do just that. Since childhood Angela has combed the pharmacy aisles for products and received many prescriptions to get relief for her itchy, dry skin related to the skin condition known as eczema. Her interest in learning what product ingredients may trigger and relieve the inflammation on her skin led her to pursue a license in skin care. By combining her unique background in chemistry and skin care, Angela plans to develop her own skin care brands and continue to educate others on how to keep their skin healthy and glowing.
